Management and Diversity Chair

The Fondation Dauphine, of the Université Paris-Dauphine, with support from the Club XXIe Siècle and prominent companies, promoted the Management and Diversity Chair. The Club Segle XXI in Catalonia is going to work with the French Club XXIe Siècle for the creation of the same Chair at a Catalan university.

The Chair will take advantage of the diversity profile of Catalan society and the entrepreneurial values of immigrant populations, and will become an important tool for cooperation between university and business.

Diversity is a reality, and Territories and companies are increasingly in the need to know how to manage it. The Chair, which tackles the concept of diversity as a pillar of social management, will establish research, teaching and outreach on good practices of diversity management in enterprises, as well as on the close relationship between diversity and entrepreneurship.

Useful knowledge for reflection, training and business management will be developed, and it will enable the understanding of the impact of a proper management of diversity.
