Projects Accelerator

The Club XXIe Siècle in Catalonia, in collaboration with investment funds, designs and implements an Accelerator of Entrepreneurial Initiatives.

The Accelerator of the Club XXIe Siècle in Catalonia is an innovative program to support entrepreneurs and whose goal is to “accelerate” the development of ideas and business projects, selected on the basis of the diversity of users of the program Entrepreneurship in the Neighbourhoods and talented young people from the university.

The support received from the Accelerator provides a favourable framework so that the entrepreneurs’ skills and interests can flow. The Club provides advice through a group of mentors/coaches with wide experience on entrepreneurship and diversity. Seed capital is allocated to implement entrepreneurial projects and, if they succeed, it is promoted the sourcing of new funds from institutional financing, networks of business angels and /or venture capital.

The Club XXIe Siècle in Catalonia, through its Projects Accelerator, wants to increase the employment and the economic activity of those initiatives that are beneficial to society by helping the creation and the development of businesses in deprived neighbourhoods.
